La terza serata di #UffiziLive ha visto il Verone e le sale di #Caravaggio fare da cornice al gruppo @quadrisonori, che dalla #Spagna ha portato arie #barocche e #rinascimentali. Le #voci sono state accompagnate dalla nota #chitarra barocca e da due strumenti decisamente singolari: la #vihuela, lo strumento più popolare nella penisola iberica di quei tempi, e la #tiorba, uno strumento che si fa strada con suoni gravi e sostenuti perfetti per accompagnare le voci in balia del testo. Uno stile che ebbe origine a pochi metri dagli #Uffizi ancora in costruzione, dove un gruppo di intellettuali iniziò a riunirsi: la Camerata Fiorentina. Dai loro incontri nacque un approccio diverso alla composizione cambiando radicalmente il rapporto fra #musica e testo, in favore di quest'ultimo. Un #concerto suggestivo che ha appassionato grandi e piccini. #UffiziKids 🌎E N G: Third night of #UffiziLive! And the “Verone Corridor” with the “Caravaggio Rooms” have been the perfect location for the @quadrisonori ensemble’s performance, which recreated the typical ambiance of #Baroque and #Renaissance Spanish courts. The singers’ voices were accompanied by the characteristic Baroque #guitar and other two peculiar instruments: the vihuela, the most popular instrument in the Iberian peninsula during the 1600s, and the #theorbo, characterized by low and steady sounds which yesterday represented an ideal accompaniment to the voices carried away by the lyrics! Such is the style originated only a few metres from the Uffizi Gallery - at that time still under construction - where a group of learned people used to meet: the famous “Florentine Camerata”. They developed a new approach to composition which completely changed the relationship between #music and #lyrics, in favour of the latter. A captivating #concert appreciated by adults and children alike.
